Following your inquiry to our office via phone or email, our quoting staff will provide you with a proposal for your machinery and equipment appraisals services. Our quote to you will be based on the type of machinery and equipment, the size of the facility and other factors. We may request an equipment list or asset run to assist us in determining the full scope of the proposed assignment.
Following acceptance of our proposal, our appraiser will provide an inspection of the equipment (if applicable). Following inspection, completion of the appraisers due diligence, and any other terms agreed agreed upon in the proposal, the completed machinery and equipment appraisals report will be provided.
The Machinery and Equipment appraisal will contain a listing of the assets appraised. Descriptions will be as precise and detailed as possible, listing the manufacturer, model and serial number, with descriptions of function, capacity, accessories, etc. Photos of a sampling of the assets will be included if applicable.
The cover letter in the report will contain a clear definition of the value concepts used, fully explaining and describing what is meant by the particular value determined and the method that was used in arriving at the values reported. It will also contain a statement of the objective for which the report was performed, and if required, make recommendations for action that may be different from what was asked for. A company narrative and/or industry narrative may be included in certain reports. View types of appraisal reports
